Come Ride with Us...
Now, that’s what I talkin’ about! We found our little slice of paradise in Florida. The temperature is forecast to be around 72 today, with rain arriving tomorrow, so we’re off to a nearby island state park to enjoy the day. It’ll on be on the blog tomorrow. :)

This is an awesome view from your window, what lucky people you are to be right on the water! Whereabouts in Florida is this?

Looks fabulous! How come we didn't find this place when we were there??!! Oh yah, now I remember - we were staying in free or cheap places!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe seem to be traveling in your rear view mirror. We're only about a day or two behind you. Same route. Too funny. So, where is this beautiful spot you found? My husband and I would love to stay for a few days with a view like that.
ReplyDeleteWOW, WHERE'S THAT?!!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is a beautiful view!
ReplyDeleteHmm...I'm guessing Carrabelle? My dad is from Apalachicola (he and my mom live in Eastpoint now) and I've spent lots of time in that area. We used to go to St. George island when the only way to get there was by ferry. It's one of the few areas that still feels like the old Florida.
ReplyDeleteIf you want great fresh seafood, go to Leavin's in Eastpoint. Fantastic oysters, shrimp, and fish. Try smoked mullet, if you haven't had it.
Apalachicola is a sweet town to explore. And I think you'd love a side trip to Wakulla Springs. The boat trip is great, the tour guides can be really fun (and very southern!) and you're guaranteed close encounters with wildlife, probably even manatees.
Have fun!
